Had this fantastic idea tonight. I think we need an imprint like DC's Vertigo or Wildstorm and Marvel's Icon, where creator-owned or non-Marvel character fan-fics can be. Main reason I had this idea was cause I bouht the first Ninja Turtles Movie on VHS at the Thrift Store today, and my urge to write a TMNT fan fic came rushing back. This would allow for even more creativity on writers parts. Would allow writers to do stuff like Bendis' Powers title or Brubakers Criminal title and such. Let me know what ya think.

That could be cool. Have it open for ANY fanficing they want to do.

Exactly. Opens up lots of possibilties, and sets us aside creatively from other big fan fic sites. Doing something thier not. If you need with all the stuff you're doing here, I can totally edit or help edit this section as well as the Spidey line.

I don't think that'd be too bad. And some of the stuff could be in-continuity as well. Like, using the Vertigo imprint at DC as an example, we could do a revamp on an obscure character and replace him within Marvel continuity. I think that'd be fun...already coming up with ideas...ACCEPT IT NOW!!
lol...j/k

What if we had a Johnny Marvel Imprint, for younger kids? Like my sister is 13, and kinda likes X-Men, and thought about writing, but she's afraid that she's not as good as us more experienced writers, so it wouldn't do as well, but if we had a imprint for not only younger kids to read, but for them to write, that would get alot of younger kids into writing, and more into comics at the same time! Im already thinking of plans for the x-men/new mutants!!!

That's not to bad either. It also opens up for new readers/writers of fanfic to use as well. Their skills might not be great so they start out there.

We could also do like a 'Marvel Adventures'-eque type of imprint.
'626 Adventures' anyone?
