Hey Marshal, Scott, and TJ,
I've been trying to focus on my fanfic more than I normally do thanks to a creative spurt and I decided to completely rework my original plans for Mighty Avengers. This plan changes a lot of things for this universe if I'm allowed, but I think it's all for the better and I think that they could be really cool. There is one thing I wanted to ask, mainly for Scott:
Would it be ok if I took over West Coast Avengers? Or, if you want and pending this is accepted by you all, you could write it, but I think that the cast I picked would be good. Well, enough babbling, here's my pitch for...

Issue 1- “There Came a Day…”
Captain America is deployed to Iraq for SHIELD and completes a mission to stop a human genetic bomb in Baghdad. When he returns, Tony Stark, Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym, and even Bruce Banner are there to see him. They tell him that they received a message from Starfox, who has been aiding SHIELD lately due to losing a sexual harassment case, who crashed down from the SHIELD orbital two days ago saying that Robert Grayson, the hero formerly known as Marvel Boy, has returned…but has come for the Infinity Gems.
Issue 2- “Unlike Any Other…”
Captain America and the former Avengers all try and figure out how big a threat Marvel Boy will be. When Nick Fury looks to the SHIELD satellites for help in finding the power scales, they are very powerful. Estimating by the strength he has, they say he’s already acquired two of the gems. They then run a search on the last known places of the Infinity Gems, finding that there calculations had to be correct as the Soul and Space gem were last in possession of Adam Warlock, with whom Reed Richards (after contacting him) said lost all contact with Warlock days ago. There next stop: Atlantis, where the Power gem was last seen.
Issue 3- “When Earth’s Mightiest Heroes…”
Namor is greeted with the faces of Captain America, Wasp, Nick Fury, Iron Man, and Yellowjacket, who immediately ask him if he has seen the gem. Responding no, Namor tells them that he has no time for land dwellers disrupting his kingdom, when Marvel Boy crashes down into the water. He decimates a small part of Namor’s kingdom, with Namor rushing into fight the man who destroyed his kingdom. Marvel Boy quickly gets into his mind and fires the gem out of his body. Namor, weakened now that the gem is out of him, explains that he found it months ago and has been in contact with Adam Warlock until recently. Namor agrees to go with them, leaving Namorita to guard Atlantis for him.
Issue 4- “Banded Together…”
Spider-Man is doing some crime fighting against the Shocker when the shockwave from Marvel Boy’s crash hits them. Spider-Man does away quickly with the minor villain and goes to the real danger, having been beaten there by Spider Woman. The two try and figure out what happened, when Marvel Boy shoots out of the ocean once more. Hit from the impact, the two fall over, and are found by Cap and the Avengers. They take them to SHIELD’s Helicarrier where they question what happened. After explaining the situation, Spider-Man and Spider Woman join in the fight as they head for Japan after the Mind gem, but first, they have to make some calls.
Issue 5- “To fight the Foes…”
In Japan, Wolverine is hired by an unknown person to kill off a woman by the name of Maya Lopez, who came to Japan for mysterious reasons and has become a threat to the man. Their name: Elektra Natchios of the Hand. The name is familiar to Wolverine, but do to his past with HYDRA and having escaped to Japan, he writes it off as nothing. Wolverine goes to gut the woman when he sees her face. Seeing the white hand mark on her face reminds him of her, and he is reunited with her. As they bond, Elektra comes and is infuriated that he couldn’t complete the assassination and begins to do it herself. Complaining of a voice inside her head talking to her, she goes crazy and just then, Marvel Boy returns.
Issue 6- “That No One Hero Could Face”
Marvel Boy shoots Elektra in the head with one of his blasts and takes the Mind gem from her. She is left mentally unstable and Wolverine and Echo go after the renegade hero, who defeats them within seconds. Marvel Boy taunts them when he is struck down by the power of Nova, with Spider Woman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, Yellowjacket, Songbird, Nick Fury, and Namor trailing behind him. Captain America tells him to give up soundly, or face the judgment of the Avengers. Marvel Boy doesn’t take the offer and attacks.
Issue 7- “Infinite Possibilities”
With the combined efforts of all the heroes, they are able to subdue Marvel Boy, taking him away to their space station where he is kept in containment, under watch of Nova and Ms. Marvel. Back on Earth, Captain America and the many heroes, including Echo, Wolverine, and Elektra, discuss what they should do about the Infinity Gems. With them all in favor of keeping them inside a secret vault within the SHIELD base, they begin to make the preparations, when they get word that he has escaped into space in search of the fifth gem, near Renault VII. Captain America, Spider-Man, Wasp, Wolverine, Namor, Elektra, Echo, and Yellowjacket stay on Earth as Iron Man, Nick Fury, Spider Woman, Nova, Ms. Marvel, a reawakened Starfox, and Songbird head into space to stop him.
Issue 8- “Troubles of the Mind”
In space, Iron Man and his team visit Adam Warlock to see if everything is all right with him. They find him, dead. Back on Earth, Cap is shocked to find Marvel Boy on Earth instead of space. Sending an urgent message to Iron Man and his team, they tell him otherwise and that Marvel Boy is in Space in the Spiral Nebula near Renault VII. The two then figure that they need to know which one is the real Marvel Boy. Captain America leads his team against it, when Marvel Boy reveals a doctor in the crowd named Donald Blake, and his wishes to become a superhero. Pulling the wish from his mind, he unveils the man as the lost son of Odin: Thor!
Issue 9- “Shock and Awe”
Iron Man and his space Avengers are aided by Moondragon and Phyla-Vell, fending off Marvel Boy from getting the reality gem. On Earth, Captain America and his Earth Avengers fight Thor as Marvel Boy-Earth goes about to find the other gem: Time. Finding it located inside of the Empire State Building, he goes after it. As Cap struggles to get a hold of Thor, Living Lightning comes and knocks Thor off kilter, as well as shock Marvel Boy. The shock pulsates through Earth Marvel Boy to Space Marvel Boy, just as the one in space reaches the reality gem. The issue ends with a warp going through the universe.
Issue 10- “Real Times”
Captain America and the heroes awaken inside of personal prisons, designed specifically to keep them in. The heroes notice Nick Fury gone, but Cap doesn’t freak out. Figuring that Marvel Boy’s reality warp was to create this as he completed his set of Gems, Iron Man and Captain America begin to enact Plan: TIMELY. Thanks to Marvel Boy’s over powered mind, he never suspected that they could break out, so he allows them to keep their weapons and such. Iron Man uses his armor to teleport everyone out of there. Nova makes a call to the other former New Warriors (Night Thrasher, Speedball, Firestar, and Justice) to come and help them out. As they arrive outside of their prisons, the find that they are in New York, only now it is Atlas Palace. As the heroes go in to find Marvel Boy in his palace, they are stopped by the guards, The Agents of Atlas: Venus, the Human Robot, Gorilla Man, Namora, Black Widow, Flexo the Rubber Robot, The Vision, and a bunch of other golden age heroes.
Issue 11- “The End is Nigh”
The team fights off the golden age heroes as the New Warriors arrive. Speedball takes on Flexo one on one and Speedball comes out the winner. As the Agents are defeated, they enter the kingdom and are welcomed by the insanely powerful Marvel Boy. Commanding him to give up, he refuses, saying that he will not be stopped and that they deserve to be punished for everything they’ve done. He says that the heroes don’t care for truth and justice anymore, that they’re all glory hounds looking for their next marketing scheme. Suddenly, swarms of insects begin to appear and attack Marvel Boy. The insects are commanded by a new Ant Man…Tony Stark. The team then wonders who is behind Iron Man, where they find Col. Nick Fury behind the mask. The insects take the reality infinity gem from Marvel Boy and it is given to Tony. Tony asks Cap what he wants to do and Steve just says one thing: Avengers Assemble!
Issue 12- “Assemble!”
All of the Avengers fight against Marvel Boy, and defeat him. Putting everything back the way they were, SHIELD is given the gems and they are placed under the strictest security. They calculate the damage done and receive a call from California’s senator. Saying that they need heroes over on the west coast, SHIELD tells Captain America that the world needs Avengers again, and he as well as the Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Tony Stark, and Nick Fury assemble the new Avengers teams. One year later, we see the teams, fighting on their different coasts and still sticking together strong.
Let me know if any of this doesn't make sense. I couldn't get my ideas out fast enough when I typed this all up so I can clear it all up. But I need to know what do you think? Could I do it here or should I place this up in the general section of UXN?
